The first CamelBak goes back to 1989 and since then it?s hard to imagine your back without. Its inventor, Michael Edison, didn?t want to ?take to the bottle? anymore, because he was involved in an accident twice just because he was cycling one-handed, holding his drinking bottle in the other hand. Edison, a qualified ambulance man who?s very keen on cycling, took an old infusion bag, put a tube in it, put the whole thing in a sock and sewed it unto the back of his tricot. This is how the first CamelBak was created!
