RedRam by Icebreaker
In the autumn/winter season of 2010, Icebreaker introduced the new underwear brand RedRam in Switzerland. This new brand has a slightly smaller range with a low price and was developed for a wide public.
RedRam belongs to the Icebreaker group taking on the pioneer role as regards merino clothing. The New Zealand enterprise recognized the potential to produce clothing made of wool of merino sheep in contrast to the trend of synthetic clothing.
ICEBREAKER INFORMATION: The enterprise founded in 1994 with its seat in Wellington, New Zealand, created a brand-new category of clothing: outdoor clothing made of merino wool.
The handpicked merino wool directly obtained from New Zealand Alps undergoes the best technologic processing according to ethic and ecologically friendly principles and is thus transformed into your Icebreaker. Ten different merino wool fibres are used for the travel, outdoor and underwear collections. They are silky smooth, breathable and odour-resistant. They are marvellously insulating and do not scratch. Nowadays, Icebreaker is the biggest enterprise throughout the world producing clothing made of merino wool.
Products of the enterprise are sold in almost 2000 shops in 24 countries in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America.
