Triumph
When the founders of the company started production in 1886 in Heubach, Germany, they had six
co-workers. Visionaries they were from the beginning. Already in 1891 they had applied for a
patent for "transparent garments of materials made from spun glass, Mica, celluloid or insoluble
varnished gelatine, and that are permeable to light".
In 1902 the name "Triumph" was officially registered as a trade mark. After an exact forty years of continued growth, in 1926 the foundations of international expansion were laid: The company established its first branch abroad in Zurzach, Switzerland. Today the central financial administration of the whole company is in Zurzach.
Today the enterprise has an annual turnover of more than 1.6 billion US-$ and employs more than 30.000 co-workers. |
